Diesel train series ДП1
At the initiative of the Belarusian Railway in 2011 they released their first one car diesel train ДП1 — the result of a joint project of JSC «Holding management company «Belkommunmash» and the Polish holding company «PESA Bydgoszcz SA» with the participation of JSC «Minsk Car Factory».
To drive single-car diesel train engine used by "MAN" and a hydraulic transmission company "Foyt". Engine power is 382 kW.
The new diesel train is much more economical than their predecessors Riga series ДР1, for example, fuel consumption ДП1 per kilometer is three times smaller. Range on one tank of fuel is about 1000 km.
