New passenger train to connect Minsk and Moscow with high-speed services from 30 April 2021

From 30 April 2021, Belarusian Railway and Russian Railways are increasing the passenger services between their two countries.
Two pairs of new high-speed international trains № 717/722 and № 721/718 Moscow–Minsk–Moscow operated by Russian Railways are laid.
The trains will run daily and will leave their departing station and arrive at their destination twice a day in accordance with a mirror timetable. Travel time will be less than 7 hours.
The trains № 722/717 from Minsk and Moscow will depart at 6:20 and arrive in Moscow and Minsk at 13:10.
The trains 718/721 from Minsk and Moscow will depart at 16:00 and will arrive at their destination at 22:55.
30 April 2021, the trains № 718 Minsk–Moscow and № 721 Moscow–Minsk will depart at 16:00 from Minsk and Moscow and will arrive in Moscow and Minsk at 22:55 for first time.
The route will be serviced by high-speed Lastochka trains in the Premium configuration in a five-carriage version offering passengers two service classes, business and economy. Wheelchair lifts are provided for passengers with disabilities, as well as dedicated seats/berths with a wheelchair mount and a call button for the conductor.
Persons travelling abroad must submit a certificate that they have been examined for coronavirus infection COVID-19 with a negative PCR laboratory test issued no later than 3 days before the start date of their journey.
