In the run-up to the World Hockey Championship, the volunteers have started working at Minsk Pasažyrski station

The volunteers, knowing foreign languages (students of the Minsk State Linguistic University), started working at the Minsk Pasažyrski railway station. A total of 16 volunteers are currently involved in providing information assistance for foreigners at the capital railway station twenty-four-hours per day. A shift work has been organized (4 people per shift).
The volunteers can be found on entry level in the central railway station lounge, on the underground floor at the entrance to the Kirava Street, as well as in the concourse waiting room above the departure platforms.
As well as, designated ticket offices for foreigners have been appointed at the railway stations of Minsk Pasažyrski and Brest Centraĺny. Inside the passenger building at Minsk Pasažyrski station, the ticket office No 14 will provide ticket sale for foreigners for the duration of the championship. At Brest-Centralny, the ticket office No 12 will be designated for this purpose. The ticket agents know a foreign languages.
From May 5 till the end of the World Championship, the Customer Service teams will provide information services Minsk railway station and at Brest railway station. The teams include representatives of the primary organizations of "Belarusian Republican Youth Union" (BRSM) of Minsk and Brest divisions of the Belarusian Railway (consisting of young and communicative people of under 30 years of age.
The information support staff from coordination centers will assist guests with searching their desired information, such as explaining how to get to passenger service facilities at the station, or searching places of residence and venues. They will also assist in using personal transportation services, such as calling a taxi or porter.
