    Belarusian Railway dedicates new direct train in Hrodna—Minsk—Hrodna

    A new diesel train №730/729 Hrodna—Minsk—Hrodna starts running on 24 July.

    The Belarusian Railway starts renewing its rolling stock. As a result, a new six-carriage diesel train was delivered to the Belarusian Railway in 2020. The train was manufactured by Poland’s PESA Bydgoszcz SA.

    The train has 311 seats, including 25 first-class seats. Each carriage is equipped with an air-conditioning system and special air curtain device preventing the entry of cold air from outside and air outlet from cabins. The entrance doors are equipped with folding ramps so that disabled passengers have easily enter the carriage. There is a large multi-purpose area for passengers in wheelchairs, with prams, bicycles and bulky luggage. The train has four vacuum toilet compartments, one of which is adapted for disabled passengers.
