A delegation of the Ministry of Roads and Transport of Mongolia, headed by Minister A . Gansukh, will pay an official visit to Belarus from March 3—5.

12 Feb 2014Corporate website of the Belarusian Railway is now available in English
Belarusian Railway continues its work on improving the corporate website. For your convenience, the English version www.rw.by/en has been introduced.
In February, such sections of the site as Passenger Services, Freight, Corporate and Timetable (city lines and regional economy class lines schedule) became available in English. An important stage of this project consisted of the development of a reference guide of Belarusian railway stations and stopping points (halts) in accordance with the "Guidelines for the transliteration of geographical names of the Republic of Belarus with the Latin alphabet", as approved by the State Committee for Land Resources, Geodesy and Cartography of Belarus. Names of BCh stations and stopping points were not simply translated into English, but a full transliteration(a literal conversion of a word from one script to another) from the Belarusian orthography into the Latin alphabet was made. Formed in this way, the reference guide of railway stations and stopping points of the Belarusian Railway was examined by the Republican toponymic commission affiliated with the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.Read more…

Talks on bilateral cooperation between Belarusian and Polish railway infrastructure managers will be held on February 12 in Warsaw.
Management of the Belarusian Railway and PKP "Polish Railway Lines" will discuss topical issues on the operation, maintenance of railway infrastructure and access to it for organization of transportation services through the Belarusian-Polish border.Read more…
11 Feb 2014First Three Car diesel-multiple Unit made by PESA arrived in Belarus
The first Three car diesel-multiple Unit ДП3, made by the Poland-based PESA Bydgoszcz S, has been delivered to Belarus.
After custom clearance, the diesel multiple Unit train is now standing-by to undergo acceptance inspection and certification tests by the Belarusian Railway. After commissioning it will be brought into operation.
According to the contract with PESA Bydgoszcz SA, which was signed in 2013 by the Belarusian railway, a total of three three-car diesel-multiple units will be delivered to BCh. The remaining two trains are expected to be delivered in March-April this year.Read more…
